Foellinger Foundation awards youth development grants

Subscribe NowThe Fort Wayne-based Foellinger Foundation has approved $870,000 in grants to eight Allen County nonprofits. The funding will support the recipients’ efforts to bolster youth development throughout the county.
“Investing in our youth today is an investment in our entire community’s future,” Foellinger Foundation Interim President David Bennett said in a news release. “We are grateful to the nonprofit organizations that provide vital services for young people in Allen County. Their dedication makes lasting changes in the lives of area children and families.”
The recipients include:
- Alive Community Outreach
- Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Indiana
- Crossroad Child & Family Services
- Erin’s House for Grieving Children
- Euell A. Wilson Center
- Gateway Woods Family Services
- Girl Scouts of Northern Indiana-Michiana
- Power House Youth Center
The foundation, founded in 1958 says 90% of its grants are awarded to nonprofits that serve children and families in Allen County.
