The firm has launched the Mapt Solutions Transformation Challenge where the winner will receive $100,000 in cash and professional services. Mapt says organizations, especially nonprofits with limited budgets, face obstacles like never before.
In an interview with Inside INdiana Business, Mapt co-founder and Principal Brittany Krier said the challenge intends to transform an organization and help it seize a new opportunity to grow.
“We’ve seen, especially on the heels of the pandemic, so many organizations facing greater challenges, yet they fail to re-situate or reposition themselves, to capitalize on new opportunities, or to work their way past new challenges,” said Krier.
LISTEN: Krier further explains to Inside INdiana Business reporter Wes Mills how the challenge can help give nonprofits a better roadmap to success.
Krier says organizations must be a certified 501c3 and conduct work in Indiana.
She says organization, whether nonprofit or commercial entities, are often paralyzed by the current status of their operations. Krier says the challenge is an attempt to help inspire people to think differently about the opportunities that exist for them.
“Either their organization has lost its identity, and they need help figuring out where it’s going. They have a new business opportunity that that they want to go after, but they have no idea how to do it. Or it could be that they’ve lost their way and their footing. And they need to figure out how they reposition and regain their position in their sector,” said Krier.
Mapt says the prize includes a $25,000 in cash and $75,000 in direct consulting services.
“They would be partnering with the Mapt team to really assess their challenge or their opportunity, create a plan for addressing it, and then develop sort of a turnkey roadmap for going after it,” said Krier.
The deadline to enter is December 31. Krier says the winner will be announced in March or April. Krier says preference will be given to organizations that help underserved populations.
“While we love doing this with all our partners, we especially love doing it for those with missions that really matter – organizations working to create greater good through their work and serving those who need it most,” said Mapt co-founder and Principal Steven Tyler.
