The University of Notre Dame has promoted Edward Maginn to associate vice president for research, beginning in July. He is the Keough-Hesburgh Professor of Engineering in the department of chemical and biomolecular engineering at the university. Maginn holds a bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University and a PhD from the University of California, Berkeley.
