The American Academy of Arts and Sciences has elected Laura Pyrak-Nolte as one of 261 members in the newest academy class. She is a distinguished professor of Physics and Astronomy in the College of Science at Purdue University. Pyrak-Nolte also is an elected member of the National Academy of Engineering, a fellow in the American Association for the Advancement of Science and a fellow in the American Geophysical Union.
