The hospital says the tower includes private rooms and state-of-the-art infection control capabilities to minimize exposure to infection and enhance safety for patients and caregivers.
The tower’s rooms allow for diagnostic and monitoring equipment to be brought to the bedside. The hospital says the tower also features electronic communication equipment to facilitate immediate feedback and monitoring.
“We are so excited to share the patient tower with our community,” said Goshen Health President Randy Christophel. “We’re grateful for the support of the businesses and individuals who helped make this a reality. Their embracing our mission of improving the health of our community – together – will help us provide the most up-to-date, compassionate patient care.”
The hospital will host a ribbon cutting ceremony and tours of the facility, as well as live music and art to mark the occasion.
