Raytheon Awarded $28M Navy Contract

(NYSE: RTN) has been awarded a $27.7 million contract for its facility in Indianapolis. The U.S. Department of Defense says the contract is for the assembly, fabrication, development and testing to produce and deliver the Seasparrow missile system.
The majority of the work will be performed in Indianapolis and is expected to be complete by October 2024.
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Port Hueneme Division, Port Hueneme, California is the contracting activity.
