OrthoPediatrics Reports Quarterly Loss

(Nasdaq: KIDS) is reporting a second quarter net loss of $3.7 million, compared to a net loss of $9.4 million during the same period last year. Chief Executive Officer David Bailey says the company’s results reflect growth across the entirety of its business.
“Together with the strong commitment of our team, this growth enabled us to help a record 10,500 children in the quarter,” said Bailey. “We believe we are well positioned to continue delivering durable, long-term, double-digit growth. I am proud of everything we have accomplished, but we have so much more we can do to help children suffering from orthopedic conditions. We remain focused on executing our proven strategy that produces consistent results and improves lives.”
The company says total revenue for the quarter was $26.7 million, a 96% increase compared to $13.6 million for the same period last year.
