The event, hosted by WGU Indiana, will honor 500 graduates from more than 25 states.
Governor Eric Holcomb will give the commencement speech at the ceremony. The event will also feature a "Meet Indiana" expo before and after the ceremony, giving attendees the opportunity to meet with state employers from the Indiana Economic Development Corp., Downtown Indy, OneMain Financial and TechPoint, among others.
More than 300 of the graduates come from WGU Indiana, according to Chancellor Allison Barber.
"This year’s graduates range in age from 19 to 69," said Barber. "Most of them are busy adults who returned to college to fulfill their dream of a degree and a better life for themselves and their families. On a daily basis, our students continue to show us that dreams are achievable with hard work, determination, and a vision for the future."
Barber and WGU president Scott Pulsipher will also speak at the ceremony. The "Meet Indiana" expo will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and again from 11:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The commencement ceremony is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m.
