The U.S. Department of Defense has awarded a more than $8 million contract boost to ERAPSCO of Columbia City. The funding is in addition to a previously awarded contract for the production and delivery of sonobuoys to support training, peacetime operations and testing for the Naval Munitions Requirements Process for the Navy.

Most of the work will be done in Columbia City, Indiana and is expected to be finished in September 2023. A portion of the work is also being done in De Leon Spring, Florida. 

The Naval Air Systems Command in Maryland is the contracting activity.
