Raytheon Awarded $147M Military Contract

(NYSE: RTN) has been awarded a nearly $148 million contract for work at its Indianapolis facility. The contract calls for Raytheon to produce launchers to carry and deploy AIM-120 and AIM-9X missiles on the F/A-18 aircraft.
All the work will be performed in Indianapolis and is to be completed in September 2025. The U.S. Navy says no funds will be awarded until individual orders are issued.
The Naval Air Systems Command in Patuxent River, Maryland is the contracting activity.
