South College Opens Indy Campus

The Knoxville, Tennessee-based for-profit college says it will initially offer associate and certificate programs in health science (pre-nursing) and medical assisting.
South College Indianapolis says Turner South will serve as campus president.
“South College has a successful track record of offering career-driven education in high-demand fields to help students and communities thrive,” South College Chancellor Stephen South said. “We are ready to serve the students and community at our new campus in Indianapolis.”
South College is a multi-campus institution founded in Tennessee in 1882. The college offers 80-plus programs and concentrations taught at six physical campuses and online.
“Our facilities include inviting learning spaces equipped with modern technology and equipment that allow training relevant to the professional work environment,” Turner South said. “We’re ready to serve the Indianapolis community and grow to accommodate the workforce needs of businesses in our area to help set up our students for career success.”
The college says enrollment is open for students to join the inaugural classes starting in October.
