Through the agreement, the institutions say students will have the opportunity to earn a dual degree.
“Anderson University and Ivy Tech have a strong, ongoing academic partnership,” Joel Shrock, AU provost. “We are excited to expand our relationship to include this articulation agreement between Ivy Tech’s associate of arts and associate of science degrees and AU’s Christian ministries major in its bachelor of arts degree.”
Ivy Tech graduates with an associate of arts or an associate of science degree may transfer and apply a minimum of 60 credit hours from that completed degree to the requirements for Anderson University’s bachelor of arts degree in Christian ministries.
“This articulation agreement with Anderson University is especially exciting for students because of its flexibility. Ivy Tech students who earn one of 30 different AS (Associate of Science) degrees or our AA (Associate of Arts) in Liberal Arts, now have a direct pathway to a bachelor’s degree in Christian ministries,” said Dr. Mia Johnson, chancellor for Ivy Tech’s Anderson campus. This is an unprecedented pathway at Ivy Tech Community College and we are excited to offer this opportunity to our students.”
This transfer agreement is available to Ivy Tech students completing any associate of science or associate of arts degree regardless of the degree major.
