ThThe Association for Practical and Professional Ethics, based out of Greencastle, has hired Kristen Fuhs Wells as its executive director. Wells led communications and development strategies for Indiana Humanities for more than 12 years and most recently served as vice president.

The nonprofit says it is dedicated to advancing scholarship, education, and practice in practical and professional ethics.

“We are thrilled that Kristen will lead this incredible organization at such an important point in its existence,” said Lisa Lee, APPE board chair. “We were seeking someone who could continue APPE’s forward momentum with strong communications and nonprofit administration experience. We look forward to having her lead our team and provide an exceptional member experience to our diverse and engaged membership.”

Wells began her tenure earlier this month.
