She has served as the chief of the division of adolescent medicine in the department of pediatrics, associate professor of pediatrics and of microbiology and immunology and the Richard E. and Pauline P. Klingler Scholar in Pediatrics at the IU School of Medicine. Katzenellenbogen is a member of the American Association for Cancer Research, American Academy of Pediatrics and the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine.
