Record Q2 Revenue Drives Wabash National Outlook

(NYSE: WNC) is reporting second quarter net income of $30.9 million compared to $31.9 million during the same period last year. Net sales for the semi-trailer maker came in at $626 million, up two percent from the prior year.
Wabash National President Chief Executive Officer Brian Yeagy is pleased with the report. “We delivered revenue of $626 million which is an all-time record for Wabash National and we generated our strongest operating margins in two years, driven by the Wabash Management System."
Trucking industry news publication, FreightWaves, reports Wabash has $1.2 billion of trailer production that will take the rest of 2019 to build. “Demand is strong and customer sentiment remains stable,” as discussions about 2020 orders begin with major customers, Yeagy said.
