When it comes to the quality of the place where you live, what are the top priorities? The Wabash Heartland Innovation Network is continuing to seek input from residents in the 10 counties it serves in north central Indiana.

WHIN is an organization focused on developing the region of Indiana into a “global epicenter for digital agriculture and next-generation manufacturing.”

Residents are being asked to complete a survey on the top priorities in their own counties, including vitality, education, and connectivity. This is the second round of a survey that started in 2018. Organizers hope to build on the insight that resulted from the first survey.

WHIN is using volunteer groups to conduct the survey over the next six weeks. Many of the surveys will take place at county fairs. Staff from Ivy Tech Community College and Purdue Extension is assisting in the project.

The innovation network hopes to get a wide representation from all demographics by reaching 5,000 people in the Wabash region.
