Reynolds Farm Equipment in Hamilton County is gifting its vast collection of Christmas lights and light structures to Conner Prairie.
For decades years the Reynolds family and staff erected the colorful light show at their John Deere dealership in Fishers. Thousands of cars passed through the display each season, creating generational memories. "Our Christmas light display was born out my father’s love for Christmas and our community," said Gary Reynolds, owner and chairman of Reynolds Farm Equipment.
The 400 lighted displays will now be a part of the new “A Merry Prairie Holiday festival” held at Conner Prairie. Norman Burns, president and CEO at Conner Prairie, says the Reynolds gift will make the holiday festivities at Conner Prairie even more memorable. "This year it will be even more so as we bring new experiences to the holiday season and carry on a time-honored family tradition by displaying the Reynolds Christmas lights,” commented Burns.
The holiday festival debuts on November 29 and runs through December 31.
