Batesville Tool & Die Launches Corporate Automation Team

Batesville Tool & Die has announced the creation of a corporate automation team. BTD says the group will look for and implement new technologies used in the manufacturing industry.
“BTD knows it’s important that we continue to advance and innovate to remain competitive in the automotive industry. This commitment to automation will help us secure our position into the future,” said Jody Fledderman, president and chief executive officer.
Batesville Tool & Die produces precision metal stamping components for the automotive, appliance, industrial and other industries.The company plans to invest $50,000 to establish an automation lab at its main plant in Batesville. It also has plants in Tipton, Indiana, Aiken, South Carolina, and Queretaro, Mexico.
The company is currently running three shifts.
