The first ceremonial shovel of dirt for Clarksville’s first new apartment complex in decades will be thrown Thursday morning. The project will be the first newly constructed, mixed-use multifamily development in this town since 1989. The development is the result of a public-private partnership between Form G Companies, the Town of Clarksville, and One Southern Indiana.

The five-acre complex will consist of both retail and residential space.

Plans for the new complex call for 48 one- and two-bedroom apartments, 18 two- and three-bedroom townhomes and between 15,000 – 30,000-square-feet of retail space.

Construction is scheduled to be completed in the fall of 2020.
