Indy Airport Among ‘World’s Best Domestic Airports’

The airport landed the second spot on the magazine’s 2019 World’s Best Domestic Airports Awards list.
The Indy airport scored only two points behind the Portland International Airport.
The magazine says survey respondents remarked: “This should be the blueprint for all airports!” “Great local restaurants to eat and grab coffee or beer,” and “Always clean. Security line is always friendly and quick.”
This is the fourth year in a row that travelers have voted the Indy airport among the best of the top 10 best domestic airports in the world.
“This kind of traveler feedback is a big compliment to our employees and business partners who make a 10-year-old terminal look new and clean every day, and push the status quo to provide services and amenities that are attractive to a broad range of tastes and interests,” said Indianapolis Airport Authority Executive Director Mario Rodriguez in a news release. “It’s really the people that work here, delivering Hoosier Hospitality and striving to provide an outstanding customer experience, that make the Indy airport a world-class operation.”
