Wurth to Break Ground on New HQ

Subscribe NowAn Indianapolis-based subsidiary of Germany-based Wurth Group will break ground Monday on its new Greenwood headquarters. Wurth Service Supply Inc. says it will invest $11.5 million in the project and add up to 60 jobs by 2020.
Wurth currently employs 100 full-time Indiana associates, who will move to the new headquarters. The Johnson County Development Corp. says the new jobs will include warehouse laborers as well as administrative and professional positions.
The new facility will be in Greenwood’s Southpoint Business Park near I-65. Construction is expected to be complete by late 2017.

Monday’s groundbreaking is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Greenwood Mayor Mark Myers, Greenwood Redevelopment Commission President Brent Tilson, Indiana Secretary of Commerce Victor Smith and Wurth Group Executive Vice President Marc Strandquist are among those set to take part in the event.
