Centric Executive Director Jason Williams says the Day of Innovation is about "uniqueness and solving a problem," which he tells Inside INdiana Business doesn’t always mean a product or service on the market. "It could be a new initiative or even a reorganization within a company, it doesn’t even have to be external or public." Williams says the industrial landscape in Indiana is continuing to evolve.
"Certainly, it’s no secret technology is causing huge shifts in the community and the culture and really the economic growth here in Indiana, and it’s safe to say that all companies are tech companies, moving forward," Williams says. The continued growth in more tech-focused jobs, he says, is helping feed all sectors throughout the state and brings "a culture of problem-solving and building a culture of creatives" that have fanned-out to low and high-tech companies alike.
The 2016 Day of Innovation Conference is set for October 13 on the campus of Butler University. You can connect to more about the event by clicking here.
