The architecture and engineering firm says the move is the final stage in a multiyear, strategic leadership transition.
Pasterick co-founded the firm in 1992 along with Ron Dick and Terry Wagner. Design Collaborative has grown to a team of 85 people at offices in Fort Wayne and Charlotte, North Carolina, serving clients in 19 states.
As part of the transition, Design Collaborative has announced Adam James as its new CEO. James serves as a senior architect and partner with more than a decade of experience with the firm.
“We are deeply grateful for Pat’s leadership and vision, which have shaped the firm into what it is today,” James said in a news release. “As we move forward, our focus remains unchanged—to build meaningful relationships with our clients and create extraordinary spaces that improve people’s worlds.”
The firm said James has been working closely with Pasterick to prepare for the transition. He will begin his new role in January.
