Securitas to add 170 jobs in New Carlisle

New Jersey-based private security company Securitas is expanding its northern Indiana operations. The company announced this week that it aims to add nearly 170 security professionals in New Carlisle by the end of the year.
In order to meet its lofty goal, Securitas is hosting an in-person hiring event next week at its new office in South Bend. Individuals interested in applying will have the opportunity to interview on-site and learn more about the position.
Securitas employs 80,000 people across more than 400 branch locations across the country, including in Columbus, Evansville, Fort Wayne, Indianapolis, Lafayette, Merrillville, and Terre Haute.
The company provides a variety of security services for clients, including on-site and remote security, fire and safety services, and corporate risk management.
Securitas says wages start at $19 per hour and come with a benefits package including medical, dental and a 401(k) plan. New hires will be provided with comprehensive training before starting.
The hiring event will take place Dec. 16 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 460 Stull Street, Suite 400.
