LifeOmic’s Precision Health Cloud is being used on two initiatives for the health system to help patients to better understand their health.
The Indiana company says its cloud-based software will help researchers and clinical staff to develop and deliver precision medicine. The service provides survey capabilities and analytics tools on data that AdventHealth collects.
"LifeOmic’s Precision Health Cloud is providing the infrastructure for researchers to help citizens understand how their habits impact their health today and determine what issues they’ll face twenty years from now," said Dr. Don Brown, chief executive officer and founder of LifeOmic.
One of the initiatives is called WholeMe. It’s considered a first-of-its-kind DNA study in Florida that empowers Florida residents with potentially life-saving information about their heart health. The program provides free DNA tests that could point out genetic heart conditions.
