The group’s AmTopp division will increase capacity of its stretch film manufacturing by investing $20 million to add two lines in their Remington facility.
The company expects its Remington plant to be fully operational by the end 2020 and will employ between 60 and 70, when full operations for all stretch film manufacturing begins. Inteplast is currently hiring up to 20 people to staff the 350,000 square foot facility, which is primarily functioning as a warehouse and will eventually make pre-stretch film as a secondary operation.
The company will manufacture its entire stretch film line in Remington, including machine wraps, hand films and pre-stretch films. The Indiana production would add 60 million pounds to their current 385 million pound combined capacity in Lolita and Houston, TX, Charlotte, NC and Phoenix, AZ.
