Indianapolis-based Allison Transmission Inc. (NYSE: ALSN) will Friday provide details on a planned expansion. Governor Eric Holcomb and Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett will be on hand for the economic development announcement and groundbreaking at the company’s headquarters.

No other details on the project were made available. Allison Transmission began construction on a $34.5 million Vehicle Environmental Test facility earlier this year, though a spokesperson for the company says Friday’s announcement will be separate from that project.
