Regional Coalition Launches ‘The Fouridor’

Subscribe NowA coalition of economic development leaders in south central Indiana has launched a new brand and website aimed at attracting new business to the region. The group says “The Fouridor,” highlights the region’s business environment.
The coalition consists of One Southern Indiana, The Port of Indiana-Jeffersonville, the River Ridge Commerce Center and Duke Energy, They say new website emphasizes the region as a logistics hub and the brand name is meant to represent the convergence of the “Four R’s”: roads, rail, runways and river access.
"We have always known South Central Indiana is an extraordinary place for businesses, employees and families," said Wendy Dant Chesser, chief executive officer of 1si, which serves as the chamber of commerce and economic development organization for Clark and Floyd counties. "Now we have a website that tells our story to the outside world. It is a terrific way to publicize the great logistic and business assets to site selectors and those considering a business move."
The coalition says business leaders in The Fouridor are leveraging the state’s economic strength and momentum to propel their businesses on a "trajectory toward growth and prosperity." You can learn more about the new brand by clicking here.
