Shane Pearson, the Indy brewery’s co-owner, says he loves the food hall concept and is excited to be part of the redevelopment of the former Coca-Cola bottling plant.
Daredevil Brewing Co is an independent production brewery and taproom, which first opened in Speedway in 2012. The company recently opened its second location in Indianapolis, Daredevil Hall at the Ironworks Hotel in Keystone.
“We like the history, location, and tradition of Bottleworks,” Pearson said, “We were drawn to Speedway because it is a redevelopment project, as well. We bought the first two acres in a 14-acre redevelopment because wanted to help drive traffic to the area.”
The new taproom will seat about 70 people and will be the north end anchor to The Garage, joining the recently-announced Square Cat Vinyl record store.
The new Daredevil location will provide a variety of their best-selling beers, including the J.W.P American Stout, Muse Belgian Golden, Rip Cord DIPA and Vacation Kölsch. They will also offer carryout.
