An Indianapolis-based company that supports women entrepreneurs is today celebrating its fourth anniversary. The Startup Ladies’ 4th Anniversary Luncheon in Indianapolis will feature a keynote from The Heritage Group President Amy Schumacher and a pitch competition.

The pitch competition finalists will compete for a $1,000 prize. The finalists include: Synapse Sitters, a platform to help connect families with special needs children with trained sitters; AwayZone.US, an app that connects businesses with consumers who have specialized cultural needs in unfamiliar areas and; workplace well-being product provider Let’s Peak.

The Startup Ladies has a presence in Indianapolis, Terre Haute and Bloomington. The company aims to help women entrepreneurs clear hurdles throughout the process of starting up and scaling a company.
