UK Manufacturer Investing $100M in Lebanon

The Lebanon City Council has approved tax incentives for DS Smith Plc for a $106 million facility in the Lebanon Business Park, which the company says will result in 140 new jobs.
The Lebanon City Council this week approved a seven-year, $5.1 million tax abatement based on the company’s growth plans. DS Smith’s product offerings including shelf-ready packaging, shipping and retail packaging, heavy-duty industrial packaging and point of sale displays.
Last year, DS Smith completed the acquisition of Parish Manufacturing Inc. in Indianapolis, which now operates under the Rapak brand. Additional companies to announce expansions in the Boone County city this year include MonoSol, Festool, IBC Coatings, and Consolidated Container Co.
