Clear Software Closes Funding Round

Clear Software, which provides a cloud-based automation platform for businesses, says the funding was led by Collina Ventures and included investors such as Angie’s List co-founder Bill Oesterle. Specific investment numbers are not being disclosed.
The company says it plans to use the funds to "significantly expand" its sales and marketing efforts. It also will add support to its client service and product development teams, though the company declined to provide detailed jobs numbers.
Clear Software’s platform, the company says, enables businesses to streamline complex processes across multiple software systems into simple web pages, creating increased productivity and decreased training time.
"Our vision is to clean up the mess left by enterprise software and simplify the way large companies do business," said Jon Gilman, chief executive officer of Clear Software. "With the support of Collina Ventures and our extremely knowledgeable pool of investors, we will continue to execute toward this vision and make people’s daily jobs much easier."
In late 2016, Clear Software detailed plans to expand into a new building in downtown Zionsville and add up to 190 jobs.
