E-Warfare Technology Contract Goes to Fort Wayne’s Raytheon

The company has been awarded $65.4 million for engineering and software development work relating to the EA-18G Airborne Electronic Attack aircraft, which has electronic warfare capabilities. The contract also involves system improvements, prototypes and simulations, as well as other engineering, integration and testing work.
The U.S. Department of Defense says all the work will be completed in Fort Wayne, with the contract ending in June of 2023. The U.S. Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division in California is the contracting activity.
