An Indianapolis-based transportation fleet maintenance and management company has announced an acquisition. Dickinson Fleet Services’ deal for Outsource Fleet Services Inc. includes facilities in the Chicago, Columbus, Atlanta, Dallas/Fort Worth and Southern California markets.

Executive Officer Ted Coltrain says terms of the deal are not being disclosed, but the company will continue to add resources to its Indianapolis corporate office. Coltrain and fellow Executive Officer Mike Dickinson said "Outsource Fleet has a longstanding reputation as a high-quality service provider in the industry. We are very excited to welcome Outsource Fleet Services to our team, who, like Dickinson Fleet Services, is a leader in innovation and provides customers customized on-site and mobile fleet maintenance solutions."

The acquisition, Dickinson says, will expand the company’s on-site mobile fleet services offerings and expand the footprint of its shop facilities. Dickinson has completed three acquisitions in the last year. The company’s mobile on-site maintenance and repair presence includes 400 units operating in 40 states.
