The restaurant has launched a national franchise program in an effort to bring the Scotty’s brand to more locations throughout the U.S.
Scotty’s currently has 17 restaurants, most of which are located in Indiana. Other locations include Florida, Illinois, Missouri, Ohio, and Texas. The first location opened in Muncie in 1996.
"After 21 years of building the brand and perfecting our business model we feel now is the best time to bring franchising opportunities to market," said Chris Martin, brand president of Scotty’s Brewhouse. "We very much look forward to finding owners who will share our enthusiasm for the brand and to provide support that will make their franchise successful."

Scotty’s Brewhouse was acquired by Arizona-based Due North Holdings LLC in late 2016. Scotty’s founder Scott Wise said at the time they were looking to expand to 100 locations in the U.S. within five years.
Earlier this year, Wise joined Hobart-based Luke Family of Brands as vice president of restaurant operations. The company has a management agreement with Scotty’s Brewhouse and Wise said they were planning to open a minimum of 10 Scotty’s locations in midwest college towns.
