Biopharmaceutical Company to Lay Off 100

Subscribe NowNorth Carolina-based Syneos Health (Nasdaq: SYNH) has announced plans for a workforce reduction at its Indianapolis office. In a notice to the state, the biopharmaceutical company says it will lay off nearly 100 employees beginning next month.
Syneos says the layoffs are the result of "changing business needs," however the company did not immediately provide any further details. The reduction, which is expected to be permanent, will begin July 31 and will continue through August 14.
The employees are not represented by a union and have no bumping rights.
