Ruth’s Chris Cutting Ribbon on Fort Wayne Restaurant

Subscribe NowRuth’s Chris Steak House will Monday hold a ribbon-cutting for its new location in downtown Fort Wayne. The $6 million restaurant is part of the $40 million Skyline Tower project in the city’s business district.
The 13,000 square-foot restaurant will have space for 280 guests and feature parking garage access, event space and a stage for live entertainment. The new restaurant is located near the Grand Wayne Convention Center, Parkview Field and Embassy Theatre.
Work began on the Skyline Tower project in 2016. When complete, the tower will feature 124 apartments and 170,000 square feet of retail and office space. It’s part of an overall downtown development that includes the Ash Skyline Plaza and the Skyline Garage. The Indiana Economic Development Corp. approved nearly $3 million in Regional Cities Initiative funding to support the project.
The grand opening is set for 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Ruth’s Chris has two locations in Indianapolis and one in South Bend.
