Dickinson Fleet Services Acquires Michigan Company

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, however Dickinson says it will expand and enhance the mobile trailer repair services the company offers.
The acquisition, according to Dickinson, provides a complement of new assets, giving the company additional resources to service its customers throughout the country. Executive Officers Ted Coltrain and Mike Dickinson says the deal will also grow the company’s nationwide footprint of mobile service technicians.
"Furthermore, (the acquisition) provides us a service and technology platform that will enable us to provide a superior level of semi-trailer repair service for our customers. The combination of a great team, superior technology and outstanding customers makes this an incredible opportunity to further our goal of being the industry leader in Innovation and Gold Standard Customer Service."
Fleet Enterprises provides on-site semi-trick and trailer maintenance, repair and documentation services to the transportation industry. Dickinson says the Fleet Enterprises team will join the company, though a specific number of affected employees was not given.
Dickinson Fleet Services did not respond to a request for more information on the acquisition.
