Nelbud Grows Footprint With Acquisition

Subscribe NowIndianapolis-based Nelbud Services Group Inc. has acquired the kitchen hood cleaning division of Fire Pros Inc. in Michigan. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, however Nelbud says the acquired assets will rebranded under the Nelbud name.
Nelbud Chief Executive Officer Michael Crafton says the acquisition further expands his company’s U.S. footprint.
"Fire Pro’s Kitchen Hood Cleaning division had one of the most respected customer bases in the Midwest and is known for consistent quality," Crafton said in a news release. "Fire Pro’s customers are strategically positioned, geographically, to Nelbud’s core customer base. Combined with Nelbud’s industry-leading technology services, Nelbud will be able to adapt to the market’s increasing desire for high-quality services delivered with speed, efficiency and reporting transparency."
Nelbud officially made Indianapolis its headquarters in late January and named Crafton president and CEO. The company provides commercial kitchen exhaust system cleaning, maintenance and repair, and has locations throughout the country, including Fort Wayne and Evansville.
Nelbud says Fire Pros will continue operating its fire protection systems division under another entity.
