The supply chain management company is investing more than $1 million into the facility, which it says will expand its service capacity in North America.
ALOM says the new hub will reduce delivery times for its e-commerce and retail channel fulfillment clients. A spokesperson tells Inside INdiana Business the company currently has about 15 employees but expects to peak at 100 workers during the upcoming year and continue expanding.
"We believe our Indiana regional hub is a model for future competitive growth," said Hannah Kain, chief executive officer of ALOM. "Strategically, having a new state-of-the-art production and fulfillment facility located so near our regional clients, supply chain partners and supply base, and situated for one day or same day order delivery to the Midwest and Eastern regions, makes us a stronger and more agile competitor in the marketplace."
The facility is located adjacent to Indianapolis International Airport. ALOM has 18 locations throughout the U.S. Europe and Asia.
