An Indianapolis-based healthcare staffing agency is under new ownership. San Diego-based Aya Healthcare has acquired RN & Allied Specialties, a move Aya Healthcare says will boost access to healthcare clinicians for RNS clients.

Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed. Aya Healthcare did not specifically state whether any jobs would be affected, however in a news release, the company says the deal will create "enhanced opportunities and benefits for RNS employees."

"We’re excited for RNS to become a part of Aya Healthcare," Aya Healthcare Chief Executive Officer Alan Braynin said in the news release. "We look forward to continuing to expand and strengthen the outstanding work of RNS as well as our relationship with hospital clients and clinicians in Indiana."

RNS was founded in 1995 and is headquartered on the north side of Indianapolis.
