Jasper-based Matrix Integration LLC has opened a new regional office in Fishers. The technology consulting and implementation company says the move is part of an effort to attract tech talent to the Indianapolis region and contribute to economic development growth in the region.

Matrix employs nearly 100 in Indiana and, thus far, 10 jobs have been created for the Fishers office with more expected in the future. The company says it will invest at least $2 million this year into the new office, which occupies about 3,000 square feet of space in Commerce Park near downtown Fishers.

"The growing technology demands of the community in the Indianapolis region is what brought us here," said Nathan Stallings, president of Matrix Integration. "We’re a homegrown technology company that’s been around for more than 35 years. We’re thrilled to see that there are more opportunities in tech in Indiana than ever, and we want to make a difference in that movement."

The company provides a variety of technology services in the finance, manufacturing, healthcare and education industries, among others.
