He has spent 20 years in other executive positions in the mobility industry, leading such companies as BrightPoint, BrightStar, PCS Wireless and Verizon Wireless. Black began his career in a sales position for a GTE Mobilnet (now Verizon Wireless) agent. He attended Marian College (now University). Black also serves on the board of Jameson Camp.
