Hoosier Hospitals Ranked in ‘Top 100’

The five-year trend analysis from Michigan-based Truven Health Analytics considers factors that affect overall organizational performance, including mortality rates, re-admission rates and inpatient expenses compared to peers.
The Indiana hospitals on the list are:
Major Teaching Hospital Category
- Franciscan Health Indianapolis
- Indiana University Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie
Teaching Hospital Category
- Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne
Medium Community Hospital Category
- Dupont Hospital in Fort Wayne
- St. Vincent Carmel Hospital in Carmel
Small Community Hospital Category
- Henry Community Health in New Castle
- Parkview Huntington Hospital in Huntington

Truven Health says its 100 Top Hospitals ranking, which is in its ninth year, is "the most comprehensive, academically driven study of its kind."
