The company says if a buyer is not located, most of the jobs at the facility could be cut beginning next week.
In a notice to the Texas Workforce Commission, the company says the move could affect 105 workers. Skyline Corp. attributes the decision to factors including lower-than-expected demand from manufactured housing dealerships. The facility, the company says, has not turned a profit since it converted to manufactured housing from recreational vehicles in 2014.
Without a buyer, the majority of the job cuts are slated to take place between March 27 and April 10. The company has locations in 11 states.
