Chief Executive Officer Gary Corbett tells our partners at The Times of Northwest Indiana the Chicken and Beef Cattle Adventures would be similar in scope to the destination’s existing Dairy, Pig and Crop Adventures.
He says potential investment totals for the new adventures have not yet been determined. The plans add to additional big ticket projects at Fair Oaks, including an $8 million-$12 million hotel. Corbett tells The Times the eventual goal is to draw more than a million visitors per year and a hotel, which could break ground this summer, would help serve guests that want to stay multiple days.
More than 600,000 visit Fair Oaks Farms annually. The Times report approximately 45,000 cars pass by Fair Oaks Farms, which straddles Newton and Jasper counties, every day. You can read more about the plans from The Times of Northwest Indiana by clicking here.
