Johnson had been an active member of the board since 1984. Retired as president of Midway Supply Corp., he has served numerous leadership positions in community service organizations including Rotary, Jackson County Industrial Development Corp., Seymour Industrial Corp., Seymour Chamber of Commerce and the Community Foundation of Jackson County. Britton’s 21 years of service to the board bridged his career move from his role as much-loved administrator and coach for Seymour Community Schools to his current role at The Ohio State University as academic advisor. He volunteers for community organizations including Seymour Boys & Girls Club, Boy Scouts of America, Kid Again Foundation and the James Ambassadors at Ohio State Medical Center.
