The Marten House Hotel in Indianapolis will close its doors in early 2017. On its Facebook page, the hotel said it will close January 12, but did not specify a reason for the closure.

The hotel says the closure will be permanent. It is unclear if the Lilly Conference Center, which adjoins the hotel, will also be closing.

To Our Loyal Clients and Friends:

It is with great sadness that we inform you that The Marten House Hotel will be closing on January 12, 2017. We have enjoyed the many, many years of hosting your greatest milestones: weddings, family reunions, birthdays, baby showers, bridal showers and much more. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your lives and part of the community for so many years.
