The company is investing $1.1 million in the new facility at the AllPoints at Anson industrial park and plans to add 14 jobs.
Telamon, which provides telecommunication services to businesses in various industries, will employ a total of 50 workers at the new location, some of which will be relocated. The company says the new employees will be hired no later than March of 2017.
Chief Operating Officer Stephanie Fuhrmann says continued growth necessitated the expansion.
"We recently won a major distribution and supply chain award from one of our core telecom customers, a Tier 1 wireless and wireline carrier, that has required us to occupy more space," said Fuhrmann. "We decided to expand into Whitestown because of the easy access to I-65, a major interstate highway, and proximity to our headquarters in Carmel. We look forward to contributing to the growth of this area."
Telamon is investing $650,000 into equipment for the new facility and about $450,000 on salaries for the new employees. The 110,000 square-foot facility includes warehouse, assembly and office spaces.
