Ground Broken on Hotel Near Grand Park

(NYSE: CHH) has broken ground on a $17 million hotel in Westfield. The 153-room Cambria hotel and suites will open in the fall of 2017 in the Westfield Grand Park Village.
The hotel will be located directly across from the Grand Park sports campus. In addition to the 153 rooms, the hotel will feature 3,800 square feet of meeting space, an outdoor food service area, a fitness center and an indoor pool.
"In an area with so much new development, Westfield is an ideal next stop for the Cambria hotels & suites brand," said Janis Cannon, senior vice president of upscale brands at Choice Hotels. "The Westfield property represents another example of Cambria’s rapid expansion across the country, where we can provide an upscale offering suited for the needs of business and leisure travelers, in addition to sports teams."
The hotel is being developed in partnership with Ceres Enterprises LLC and The Orlean Co., both based in Ohio.
